Civil Engineering and Surveying

In the Civil Engineering and Surveying Program students learn about two closely related, independent professions that work important and necessary roles in the design and construction industries.

Civil Engineering assignments for students will use the latest Autodesk Computer Aided Design (CAD) software to create drawings of highways, railroads, bridges, buildings, and water and energy systems.

Surveying assignments for students sill involve state of the art technology and instruments with high precision optics such as Automatic Level, Theodolite, Total Station, and Drone to measure areas of land and create and collect data points. CAD software will be used to create drawings.

Additional Credit Requirements for Graduation:

This state approved CTE program may meet additional graduation credit requirements.

  • VPAA (Visual, Performing, and Applied Arts)
