Scholarships

Scholarships for CTE students began in 2003 when the DCTC offices were moved into the Ford Flat Rock Learning Center.  Along with the donation of 20 Ford Mustangs to the Automotive Technology programs in our area, they established 4 scholarships for our students with the stipulation that one would go to a worthy Flat Rock student, along with one from Gibraltar.  In 2017, DCTC added the Corky Hancock Scholarships for students interested in a career in the skilled trades.  Most recently, the United Auto Workers, Local 3000, established scholarships for the Mechatronic students from the dual enrollment program that is housed right in the Ford Learning Center.

Currently there are: four (4) $1,000 Ford Scholarships; four (4) $2,000 Corky Hancock Scholarships and four (4) UAW Scholarships. Please select from the drop down menu to apply for them.
