Students from Airport Community Schools, Flat Rock Community Schools, Gibraltar School District, Grosse Ile Township Schools, Huron School District, Riverview Community School District, Southgate Community School District, Trenton Public School District and Woodhaven-Brownstown School District are encouraged to enroll in CTE programs during their high school years.
DCTC is represented at each of these district's Freshman Orientations. These informational sessions are designed to welcome current 8th graders to their local high school. DCTC's role is to share CTE program information, policies, procedures and opportunities within the consortium.
Local districts may offer in-house CTE programs to their 9th and 10th grade students. The consortium's transfer CTE programs are designed to fit into the high school schedule of 11th and 12th grade students.
