Cybersecurity

 

The CTE Cybersecurity Program prepares students for a mid-level understanding of the technological needs, threats, and vulnerabilities of hardware, software, operating systems, networks and the Internet. Students will examine operating systems, networks, tools and protocols needed to navigate, use, and mange security technologies as well as gain insight into the legal, social, and political dynamics of the cyber universe. Designed for students interested in cyber defense or IT professionals seeking a fundamental understanding of cybersecurity.


Application Form Required

 

This is a dual enrollment college program; prospective students are required to complete and submit an application form to their high school counselor to be considered for enrollment into this program. More information and application form can be found under the Parents/Students tab.

 

The Cybersecurity Program is offered at the following location:

  • Henry Ford College M-Tech Center in conjunction with Carlson High School

 

Credits:

This state-approved CTE program may meet additional graduation credit requirements.

  • VPAA (Visual, Performing, and Applied Arts)
